(www.SensorWave.com) has an immediate opening for a high-caliber Channel Partner Manager with a track record of high-level relationship building with enterprise clients in the security industry. The successful applicant will need to validate that they have been consistently successful in building new products and rolling out national sales strategies; successful interdepartmentally building sales programs. They will demonstrate a proven ability to grow a Channel Partner program from the ground floor with high degree of tactical involvement in day-to-day with ability to keep focus on long-term goal of building a high level national and international Channel Partner organization.
We are looking for an experienced Channel Partner Manager with experience in the security industry and a proven history of cultivating and managing both domestic and international public safety, security and video surveillance sales activity.
The Channel Partner Manager is responsible for the overall coordination, and the functional management and leadership of all of the Channel Partner relationship development activities of the company within a defined geographic territory.
This is a revenue producing management position with direct account development responsibility, reporting directly to the VP of Sales. The Channel Partner Manager will also work alongside the marketing department, and will consult to the executive leadership of the company.
Requirements:
• Possess a minimum of three to five years directly managing both national and international Channel Partner accounts.
• 10+ years of technology product and service selling experience in organizations known for high standards of excellence.
• Sound understanding of national and international Channel Partner account management and Channel Partner sales force management.
• Demonstrate prior success in managing Direct Business-to-Business Sales of Channel Partners in the security industry.
o Demonstrated rolodex of corporate contacts who are likely Channel Partners and success in selecting and developing key relationship (Channel Partner sales) contributors in a geographically concentrated sales environment.
• Be a proven “closer”
• Possess exceptional communication, interpersonal and creative skills,
• Demonstrate and possess strong leadership abilities both strategically and at the “hands-on” level
• Have a clear understanding of, and experience, with development of local, regional, national and international Channel Partner sales strategies, including compensation plans designed to deal with territories and regional/national/international account structures.
• Have hands-on experience in all phases of Channel Partner sales from territory selection, Channel Partner selection requirements through negotiation of territory licensing and agreements leading to aggressive sales and marketing plans for selected Channel Partners.
• Have proven their ability in planning, scheduling and controlling major Channel Partner sales initiatives, and in managing multiple sales programs from inception to completion.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Researching, developing, and establishing Channel Partner relationships with prospective sellers, distributors, resellers, installers, system integrators and retailers of security services
• Preparing and delivering sales presentations
• Defining strategic Channel Partner sales requirements and setting priorities to meet quotas.

The Dispatch Officer (“DO”) will work as part of the Central Monitoring real-time video surveillance Team. The job is approximately 70% technical Central Monitoring real-time video surveillance and 30% analysis and generating reports with resulting analysis and recommendations. The candidate must have professional presence and the ability to earn respect from team members and clients. Must have strong analytical skills, and be a self-starter who is practiced at looking ahead and being pro-active.
The qualified applicant will need a law enforcement, military police, public safety, security, dispatch or alarm monitoring background that includes formalized training in basic Central Monitoring real-time video surveillance principles, as well as deterrence security and threat intervention protocols. The qualified applicant will have a strong law enforcement, military and technical background in a wide variety of software and Internet applications. Responsibilities will include management of multiple geographic locations, technical configuration of our Console application, client reporting and interaction, technical presentations, and report preparation. The selected candidate will have practical experience managing multiple web-based applications at the same time; practical experience communicating with private and public safety officers in a dispatch environment; practical experience garnering support from peers and assistance in the development of policies and procedures to help improve and streamline operations.

Current opening is for Day Shift Watch Commander with times from 9:00 a.m. PST to 5:00 p.m. PST. Local candidates only, no agencies.
The Virtual Patrol Watch Commander will, work as part of the Central Monitoring real-time video surveillance Team, manage the operations of the Central Monitoring facilities and be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the Dispatch Officers (“DO”). The job is approximately 20% Management and Supervision, 50% technical Central Monitoring real-time video surveillance and 30% analysis and report generation with resulting analysis and recommendations. A key selection criterion will be experience of a previous alarm monitoring organization experience as well as experience as a designated agent for an Alarm Monitoring Facility Operation. The designated agent status means that the qualified applicant shall be able to demonstrate that they were selected to have full responsibility for the operation of a central alarm monitoring facility, and shall have passed an examination approved by, or meet equivalent requirements of the State of California Central Alarm Monitoring Licensing. The Watch Commander shall be responsible for making sure that the Virtual Patrol video alarm monitoring organization fulfills its obligations regarding employee records and payment of fees as stipulated by code, and shall make those records, or copies thereof, conveniently available to the conformance assessment agent. The qualified candidate shall provide a notarized statement that the applicant has not had an alarm monitoring license or registration permanently revoked or denied, or currently under suspension; and meets the basic standards to be licensed or registered. The selected candidate shall have completed an up-to-date SIA / APCO central station operator course, NBFAA National Training School central station training course, or similar course, all of which shall meet the specific State of California licensing requirements.
The qualified applicant will need a demonstrated leadership and management track record in managing a central alarm monitoring facility for commercial, residential, government or military alarm monitoring facilities. A law enforcement, military police, public safety, security, dispatch or alarm monitoring background that includes formalized training in basic Central Monitoring real-time video surveillance principles, as well as deterrence security and threat intervention protocols will move you to the top of the candidate list. |
